The partly high and partly medium-elevation plains of this region in southeast Rwanda extend to the slopes of Akagera National Park, where the Alberto Rift plateau joins the shores of Lake Victoria. Along with its coffee trees, this easternmost expanse is home to zebras, giraffes, elephants and other typical African animals.

A cup of coffee brewed with Akagera coffee beans will energize and excite you like the crazy impalas of this region. These coffees also contain very nice blackberry, spice and other fruity aromas.
